What IHARC can and cannot do

What IHARC can do

  • Provide outreach and engage in supportive conversation
  • Help navigate services and community resources
  • Link you to housing, treatment, healthcare, and more
  • Follow up to support service connection and stability
  • Work with partners to coordinate care and supports

What IHARC cannot do

  • Provide emergency shelter or overnight housing
  • Provide direct financial assistance
  • Provide clinical treatment or medical care
  • Make legal decisions or act as a representative
  • Guarantee immediate access to all services

Share what you are seeing, where support may be needed, and how IHARC can follow up safely. Do not share photos, rumours, medical details, or identifying information unless it is needed for safety or follow-up.

What not to do
